Greatest Friend

Style for the Ages.  A century of vintage garments, shoes and accessories as chosen through the eyes of a lady-like wild child.  After over a decade in the music business, predominately as a tour manager for dark and heavy experimental bands like SUNN)))) & Boris, Angela Means had traded in her ears for her eyes and hands and returned to her first love of textiles.  Relocating to Fishtown from Lehigh Valley just one year ago. Angela is resurrecting beautiful olde clothes as well as not so olde clothes, digging out the fine natural fibers and unique garment features that inspire durability, romance and individuals. Greatest Friend is a labour of love dedicated to reuse and creative expression.

Home Shoppe

Erick and Emily met on a stoop last spring in Astoria. Erick hates parties but went begrudgingly. Emily was tired and almost didn’t go. Good thing they went--they talked until the sun came up. After a few dates, Emily made Erick a sandwich in her dorm room. He wasn’t sure whether it was her or the sandwich, but he knew he was in love. Fast forward to a brunch date in Port Jefferson, Erick tells Emily he wants to start a sandwich shop with her, specializing in the sandwiches they craft together in their kitchen. Emily agrees and Home Shoppe is born.
