Wow...I think I'm finally recovered from all the awesomeness from last week...
I want to extend a gigantic THANK YOU to everyone who helped out with the Philly Food Truck Fundraiser:
First, to Jenny Welsh for pulling everything and everyone together. Jenny, it would have not happened without all your hard work.
To Team PSG, Brynn, Molly, Gus, Bevan, Rachel, Jesse, Monica, and James (honorary Team PSG member) for making the place look AMAZING and taking care of business all week long...cleaning, arranging, rearranging, more cleaning, sweeping, moving giant things, working the door, working the floor, running the furnaces during a packed event...Whew! Amazing work, guys, seriously amazing.
To our fabulous and wonderful vendors, Just Jackie's, Farm Truck Philly, Zsa's Gourmet Ice Cream, Art in the Age, Proper Cuppa, St. Benjamin's Brewing Co., My Dear Watson Brewing Co. and You Cut the Cheese Dessert Truffle Co. The food and drink was incredible and your generosity and support of the Sculpture Gym is so incredibly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To the fabulously amazing musicians, Umer Piracha and Danie Ocean from the non profit Working While Playing AND to Eric13 and Johnnie Ritchie of the Whiskey Bending Cowboys (who debuted a new song "Darla Rose" the night of the event!) You guys made it an amazing party! Thank you thank you thank you!
To Nate and Jonathan of Lucky Ant for helping us with fundraising! The support you guys gave us during the process was incredible.
AND to everyone who came out to support the Philadelphia Sculpture Gym!! You are helping to build an amazing space for artists and we can't thank you enough!
AND the winner of the raffle for the Lucky Horseshoe and one year PSG membership is Joon Bae!!! Runners up, winning a one month PSG membership (each!) are Andy McGowan/Beth Blinebury!! Congrats guys!
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more photos from the event (and we'd love to see your photos as well!!)

Peg and Awl: Edible Backyards
We didn't make it out for much of First Friday, as we only arrived for the tail end, but the Peg and Awl opening at Art in the Age made it worth the trip. The show looked great and there were BABY CHICKENS! (Forgive the excitement but its not every day that Olivia and I get to see baby chickens!!!!!) Margaux and Walter did a fabulous job of incorporating their handmade items with art of all types (photos, prints, video, paintings and sculpture), history of gardening and introducing their new business venture Edible Backyards. Can't wait to see more! The show is up until the end of the month. If you are in Old City, go check it out!
