So it's officially official! As of last night our lease is signed and we are so excited! It's taken a while because we were initially given a typical (very scary sounding) commercial lease that we didn't feel comfortable signing. Our landlord is pretty amazing and just said to change what we wanted and get back to him. We found a lawyer to help us thanks to Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and couldn't be happier! (What? You've never heard of them and have an art related legal issue? We highly suggest you check them out!) After a few tweaks and a big check, we are good to go! We'll be putting out calls for volunteers soon and a big thanks to those of you who have already signed up on our volunteer list! Stay tuned for progress photos!!
